THE CENTENNIAL COMPILATION
In commemoration of one hundred years since Sayyida Salme's passing, 1924-2024,
The Centennial Compilation assembles all three companion books under one cover.
The three books in the series are:
-
Memoirs of an Arabian Princess: An Accurate Translation of an Authentic Voice
-
Letters to the Homeland: An Accurate Translation of an Intimate Voice
-
The Centennial Collection: More of Emily Ruete, born Sayyida Salme, Princess of Oman and Zanzibar.
Each book is included in the Compilation in its entirety, as-is from its separate publication. All together, across 600 pages, this represents translations from the original German of the Memoirs, plus all manuscripts included in the Literarischer Nachlass that was assembled by her children, along with many short essays by the translator on topics such as family, fate, faith, controversy, freedom, and inspiration, and more than 200 photos and documents.

Readers that are interested in the full range of Sayyida Salme's writings will appreciate this all-in-one edition, including for easy cross-referencing across the full series.
